1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CashLift pay advance service. By applying for or accepting a pay advance, you agree to be bound by these Terms. CashLift is regulated by ASIC. Please read these Terms carefully before using our services.
2. Eligibility
To apply for a CashLift pay advance, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Be employed or receiving regular income (including government benefits).
- Hold an active Australian bank account in your name.
- Not be currently bankrupt or subject to a debt agreement.
3. Pay Advance Terms
- Amount: $100 to $500, subject to assessment.
- Term: 1 to 4 weeks, aligned with your next payday.
- Fee: a single flat fee of 5% of the advance amount. No compounding interest applies.
- The total amount repayable is the advance amount plus the flat fee.
4. Application and Approval
All applications are subject to our assessment criteria. We use bank statement analysis and identity verification to assess your application. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. We reserve the right to decline any application at our discretion. You must provide accurate and complete information in your application.
5. Repayment
- Repayment is automatically debited from your nominated bank account on the agreed repayment date.
- You may repay early at any time without penalty. The flat fee remains the same regardless of when you repay.
- If you are unable to make a repayment on time, contact us before your due date. We will work with you to find a suitable arrangement.
- We follow responsible lending practices and will not take action that would push you into financial hardship.
6. Fees and Charges
The only fee charged is the flat establishment fee of 5% of the advance amount.
- No application fees.
- No early repayment fees.
- No compounding interest.
- No hidden charges.
A full fee schedule will be provided before you accept any pay advance.
7. Cooling-Off Period
You may cancel your pay advance within 2 business days of accepting the contract by contacting us and repaying the full advance amount. The flat fee will be refunded if you cancel within the cooling-off period.
8. Complaints and Disputes
If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us at support@cashlift.com.au. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may escalate your complaint to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CashLift will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Australian consumer law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
